simultaneous watchdog availability

hello friends!
i use imx6sx - sd board.
m4 runs FreeRTOS and
a9 Linux. i would like manage WATCHDOG1 (be able reset a9 core ) by m4 core. In same time i would like a9 shuld manage WATCHDOG1 too. Precisely speaking may i set software reset through m4 and initialaze and feed watchdog by a9 while cores do their jobs.
Is it approved way?

in general it is possible by configuring proper permissions in RDC module
(described in Chapter 52 Resource Domain Controller (RDC) i.MX6SX Reference Manual).
However such approach is not used in nxp bsps.

As i understand Linux does not provide RDP by default and there are not any resources initially that RDP controls.
is it correct?

yes correct, default RDC settings are used.
