ppb_get_src_cust_metadata() : How to use this API?

Dear NXP

In your audio framework, I came across an API -> ppb_get_src_cust_metadata( ).

As per the document : PostProcessingPlugin_AppNote_v2.9.pdf

But I could not find an example source code or any other information regarding the API's usage and application anywhere else.

Could you please point me to a suitable resource (app note or source code) which demonstrates the use of this API?
