perl and imagemagick

Hi all,

I've tried to install imagemagick on linux imx6 baseline.

So, i added x11 and perl packages. But when installing imagemagick package, there's the following error:

/opt/freescale/usr/local/gcc-4.6.2-glibc-2.13-linaro-multilib-2011.12/fsl-linaro-toolchain/bin/../lib/gcc/arm-fsl-linux-gnueabi/4.6.2/../../../../arm-fsl-linux-gnueabi/bin/ld: cannot find -lperl

I can see perl-5.8.8-2 package is installed but it seems to me i should see other entries like libperl-dev ,...

I suppose perl package is not enough.

Does someone know what packages profile to use ?

the -dev package is usually for headers files, needed for development. Is libperl.so somewhere on your filesystem? if yes, you may use the -L to indicate the folder where it resides.

In ltib/rootfs/usr/lib, i've a perl5 directory with many directories and .pm files. But i can't locate libperl.so wheter in perl5 or another lib directory.
