I downloaded the ddr tool (mscale_ddr_tool_v3.31_setup.exe.zip) for iMX8M Plus and downloaded script from the script folder and from my own to the iMX8M Plus EVK. After downloading, nothing happens as below. The "Calibration" and "Stress Test" are inactive too. Can anyone tell me what went wrong? Thanks.

Hello,

I have not been able to reproduce the issue, it is working well on my side, it seems that there is something different in your procedure.

Please follow the guide included in the tool.

DDR Tool needs to access Windows Registry, user must run it in administrator mode.

  1. Configure the i.MX target board to boot in Serial Download mode/Manufacture mode and power up the board.
  2. Connect a UART cable from the host computer to the MX8MSCALE debug UART.
  3. Connect a USB cable from the host computer to the USB OTG port on the MX8MSCALE target board.
  4. Launch the MSCALE_DDR_Tool.exe in administrator mode.
  5. Press Search button in the Debug UART area, then choose the correct UART port connected to the MX8 Cortex A-Core Debug UART and press Connect button.
  6. Load DDR initialization script and choose correct downloading option according to the DDR memory of your board.
  7. Press Download button and wait for target board ready.

According to your screenshot, your board is not detected in serial download mode.

Best regards.
