mSATA on iMX8QM

Hi, looking to see if it is possible to implement an mSATA (pSLC) device on the iMX8QM. Mapping the differential TX and RX pairs is simple, but I am at a loss as to how to integrate the DEVSLP and presence detection without simply using 2xGPIO.
Will this also pose any software concerns?

for other features not listed there seems it will be necessary to add customizations.
