imx8mp android gstreamer hw decode and encode plugin

Hi:

  We want to use gstreamer command in imx8mp android 11, so i have use cerbero to cross compile gstreamer, but after cross compile done , i cannot found vpuenc_h264 and vpudec plugin when run gst-inspect-1.0, how to add imx8mp hardware decode and encode  plugin into cerbero?

I am running into the same issue. I am using imx8qm with Android 12 and I am trying to install gstreamer into the system.

When I run gst-launch-1.0 v4l2src... it does not find the plugin v4l2src.

Did you get the chance to fix this issue? If so how did you install the plugins into the Android system?

Please refer to Table 16.i.MX GStreamer 1.0 plugins in i.MX Linux Release Notes for supported video encoder and decoder plug-ins in i.MX8MP.

Please refer to 7.3.3 Video encoding in i.MX Linux User's Guide

One can use v4l2h264enc, v4l2h265enc and v4l2h264dec,v4l2h265dec for i.MX 8M Plus.
