Hi All

Could you tell me the imx7d external clock source voltage range is 1.8V or 3.3V or other voltage range?

PS: the external clock means EXT_CLK1 or EXT_CLK2 ...etc.

Hi Carlos,

    If "SD1_DATA1(pin D6)" is set to "CCM_EXT_CLK2" and NVCC_SD1 : 3.3V. 

    OSC clock input can not exceed 1.8V too?

Hi Felix,

When the pad is configured to SD card functionality, it will be tight to 3.3V rail; however, when using the pin as CCM_EXT_CLK, it will be tight to 1.8V rail.

As a final note, all of the CCM CLK pins are outputs (the N/P are differential outputs, and the other are single-ended).

Hi Felix,

You could refer to section 5.3.2 of the i.MX7D Reference Manual, where it is mentioned oscillator pads should be supplied to 1.8V, and higher voltages must not be applied:
