imx6q blob encapsulation and decapsulation

If I only want to generate a general blob (red blob). Neither secure memory blob, nor black key.  Do I need to read and write caam-sm? In other world, whether I can disable caam-sm node in device tree if I only want to generate a general blob?

caam_sm node in device tree as follow:

caam_sm: caam-sm@00100000 {
   compatible = "fsl,imx6q-caam-sm";
   reg = <0x00100000 0x4000>;
};
