imx rt1180 NewLib issues

Good morning community,

i've a problem with rt1180 and NewLib, i 've a project that works perfectly in one pc and not in another, the same project, no changes! it works correctly on both pc if redlib or newlib nano is set but no way to works with NewLib (but is my target).

on both pc id is 25.6.136 and sdk is 24.12 ( i can't update now).

i've investigate a bit and it looks like more or less 68bytes of differences between compiles.

i'm attaching map files and compile log for OK and KO version! could you help me to find where is the problem?

Thank you so much for your interest in our products and for using our community.

Regarding your question, I suggest you carefully check the following points:

1:  MCUXPresso IDE version and SDK lib version should be compatible.

2:   Have you checked for differences in the Project -> Properties -> C/C++ Build settings between the two projects?

    3:  Have you tried running an SDK demo on your PC?

I'm @William_Weg, a colleague of @SimoneColomboWEG-.
I checked points 1 and 2 you suggested and there's no difference.
I replaced the metadata folder from my PC (which is working) to my colleague's, and everything works.
So I think the problem is with the IDE's creation of the metadata folder.

Hi @William_Weg  and @SimoneColomboWEG ,

I suggest you try the following two methods to check.

1：Please create a new workspace on your PC (NOK), then try to debug again.

2: If step1 still not work, please try to copy MCUXpressoIDE_25.xx file from your PC(OK) to your PC(NOK)

open mcuxpressoide.exe, then create a new workspace, and  try to debug.
