iMX8QXP PMIC I2C

Hi,

I have a custom board using iMX8QXP. It has an EEPROM and an RTC connected to the PMIC_I2C lines.

While looking into the reference manual (IMX8DQXPRM), I found the PMIC_I2C module at section 9.1.11- SCU Pin Assignments. Does this mean that the PMIC_I2C can be accessed only from the SCFW? Can the A35 core access the above I2C?

Could someone please clarify this?

Hello,

Yes, you are correct the PMIC is managed by the SCFW on a private I2C bus.
