[iMX8MP-EVK] PCA6146 as interrupt controller?

Dear Community,

I would like to know if there's any conflict to configure the IO Expander PCA6146 on 8MPLUSEVK as interrupt-controller (i.e. one of the P0_x or P1_x as input to generate interruption on GPIO1_IO12) since  it is already used as gpio-controller, please?

So do you confirm that it can be used as  gpio-controller to control some outputs and interrupt-controller to receive some inputs to trigger to interruption to the SoC at the same time?
