The datasheet description for the iMX8M states
Five SAI (synchronous audio interface) modules supporting I2S, AC97, TDM, and
codec/DSP interfaces, including one SAI with 8 TX and 8 RX lanes, one SAI with 4
TX and 4 RX lanes, and three SAI with 1 TX and 1 RX lanes. Supports over 20
channels of audio
Am I correct in assuming the SAI with 8 TX and 8 RX lanes can be configured to support I8S (8 channel TDM on each lane, making for a total of 64 channels of audio in and 64 channels of audio out?
