Hi @parvathitp
Both the i.MX8M Plus or i.MX8 Quad Max platforms fully support 1Gbps Ethernet and 1080p Video streaming to Display.
i.mx8mp supports dual ethernet Gigabit controllers. One Gigabit Ethernet controller with support for EEE, Ethernet AVB and IEEE1588, One Gigabit Ethernet controller with support for TSN, EEE, Ethernet AVB and IEEE1588
i.MX8MQM: 2x Gigabit Ethernet ports, Dual 1Gbps ENET supporting 10/100/1000 PHY.
Streaming 1080p at 30fps to a display is well within the capabilities of both platforms using the Linux BSP.
For display/GUI design,
GUI guider is primarily designed for MCUs and FreeRTOS, but it can be used with Linux BSP by exporting LVGL-based GUID applications as Yocto layers. Currently official Linus support is confirmed for i.mx03 EVK, but with customization, it can be adapted to other i.MX platforms.
