   Is the rooted version of Android bsp available for iMX8M series of boards? How to make Android BSP  to rooted Android BSP?

Hi johnot,

The android bsp only support three mode:

user Production-ready image, no debug
userdebug Provides image with root access and debug, similar to "user"
eng Development image with debug tools

Please provide documents related to “userdebug”. How to make a “userdebug” version of Android for iMX8M Mini? Is it affect the performance?

Our customer wants a rooted version of Android for iMX8M Mini. I am exploring on this. I appreciate your support
