iMX8 HDMI RX - hardware implementation

I read that the iMX8 had HDMI RX feature but I am finding it difficult to work out how this would be implemented in hardware. Would anyone be kind enough to supply a schematic clip that shows how to connect HDMI signals into the iMX8 for processing? or point me in the right direction - Thanks.
