We have custom board based on iMX6 Solo/Dual SABRESD design with Yocto Linux Warrior x11 system. Touch screen controller is ADS7846 with SPI interface. We have problem with false/wrong touch randomly while using device. This problem is not consistent and not observed frequently.
After further analysis, we found this false touch issue is only observed to x11 platform. So same touch driver is working with EGLFS (frame buffer) platform. So it seems its neither related to hardware nor related to touch screen driver. So total analysis leads towards x11 system where calibration methodology between two system is different. X11 system uses xinput_calibrator and EGLFS uses ts_calibrate so might be something wrong with x11 calibration system
Any idea what could be the root cause of this issue?
