iMX 8M Nano - AB Boot

Hello support team,

we will work with a board based on the iMX 8M Nano processor and we are supposed to have a full AB Boot implemented. This would mean the following:

• two partitions which contain flash.bin images
• two boot and root partitions (though this isn't hard to do).

Question: is there a way to tell the ROM which flash.bin partition he is supposed to verify and then to boot from (e.g. a bit in the OTP or something)?

I am afarid this is not feasible, there is no OTP bit to select partition to verify and then to boot from.

There are primary and secondary images described in sect.6.1.6.1 Primary image offset and IVT offset,

but secondary image is used only when primary boot image fails
