i.MX8M Mini 3.3V I2C&UART

Hi everyone,

I am designing a custom i.MX8M mini board and I want to use the I2C and UART ports at 3.3 volts. Is it enough to connect NVCC_I2C and NVCC_UART pins to 3.3V or will I need to change the DTS file as well?

Which PMIC are you using? How about your connect to the NVCC_I2C and NVCC_UART ?

I am using BD71847AMWV from ROHM Semiconductor. I haven't connected NVCC_I2C and NVCC_UART to any voltage source at the moment. I am asking this question because I don't want to deal with changing IOMUX register values too much. If I connect NVCC_I2C and NVCC_UART to 3.3V unlike the LPDDR4 EVK, do I need to change the IOMUX register values?

Thanks for your answers. I will connect NVCC_I2C and NVCC_UART to NVCC_1V8 because PMIC I2C and bluetooth module uart logic levels are 1.8V.
