i.MX8 ULP Clock Input

Hello everyone,

I'd like to use the i.MX 8ULP with a single-ended buffered clock source instead of a crystal oscillator. Does the input structure of EXTAL32 and EXTAL0 on the i.MX 8ULP in the WLCSP package allow an externally generated clock signal to be used? If so, which of the two pins should I use?

Hello,

It is possible to use single ended clock in i.MX8ULP.

If using external 32.768 KHz clock rather than a crystal, it should be connected to EXTAL32 pin with XTAL32 left floating.

If using external 24 MHz clock rather than a crystal, it should be connected to EXTAL0 pin with XTAL0 left floating.
