does the i.MX8 Family (QuadPlus/QuadMax) support SATA port multipliers and which type (command based or FIS)?
Where do i find a public available reference manual?

We didn't do corresponding test. But got answer from BSP design team: SATA port on i.MX8M is ahci standard, so it should support SATA multiplexer.
