Is there a working example of the QtWebEngine on the i.MX7? I am unable to get the Qt provided demo browser to work on the i.mx7. With Qt5.8 including the Qt 2D renderer, it seems as though the QtWebEngine should be able to work without a gpu.
Qt 5 works on SoCs without hardware graphics for Frame Buffer and X11 graphic backends only using mesa software graphics, but it is not supported by official NXP Yocto BSP. You should take a look a third party development or Yocto community.
