i.MX6D hangs during boot up

Hello,

I am trying to update the yocto image used on our embedded development board which is based on i.MX6D. We were previously using the yocto morty based image and now we are trying to upgrade to yocto kirkstone which has the linux kernel 5.15

I am facing an issue where the device fails to boot up and hangs after some time. I cannot see any obvious errors which might be causing this. So I would appreciate any help to debug what the issue might be or how can I debug this issue further.

Thank you for your interest in NXP Semiconductor products,

Our recommendation is to download the BSP documentation.

After a build, create a new machine that uses the same kernel and ported RootFS, Kernel and U-Boot.

Review the i.MX_Porting_Guide, specially the chapters that your board ported.

And also the machine porting can be confirmed with the attachment below.
