Hi all,

I have some issues using an SD-card below 0°C. (Every once in a while I don't read back what I wrote before). I solved the problem by changing the SPEED setting of the SD2_CLK from '01' (MEDIUM) to '00' (LOW). now everything works fine, but I can't see any changes using a scope.

Can anybody explain what the speed field in the pad_ctl_register does?

Kind regards

Stephan

Hi Stephan

Those bits affect the slew rate control function within the IO cell,

allow for reducing switching noise. During board simulation, the various slew rates

should be simulated and the best one for the function of the signal should be selected for use.

'Low frequency" selection reduces noise and power consumption while signal latencies

increased and vice versa.

Best regards

igor
