i.MX6 RGMII IBIS

We want to use 1.8V HSTL for RGMII interface on the i.MX6. There seems to be some conflicting info in the datasheets and the IBIS models don’t include 1.8V. Is there any updated information on this or are we missing some docs?

Hi John,

you are right, still there are no 1.8V ibis for RGMII for i.MX6DQ

processors. However seems i.MX6SDL have it, below

IMX6_DL_S_IBIS : i.MX 6DualLIte and i.MX 6Solo IBIS File.

Hope they will appear in new ibis revision.

It is an issue if rgmii is not 1.8V compatible. I am worried that since there is no ibis for 1.8V rgmii, that the chip may not be spec’d for 1.8V rgmii ( even though some if the docs say it
is spec’d for 1.8V ). Could you get a clarification on this for us?

chip will work with 1.8V RGMII well.

Problem only with developing ibis model data.
