i.MX6 Dual RAM Supported?

Hi Everyone,

I have a question about what RAM the MX6 Dual will support. I am looking to use part number: MCIMX6D7CVT08AD.

In the reference design (which uses a QuadCore MX6Q) they call out Quantity 4: DDR3L 2Gb RAM at 800MHz to reach 1GB total.

In the combined datasheet for the Quad and Dual it says only DDR3-1066 and LPDDR2-1066 are supported (see attached printscreen).

I'm having a hard time finding non-last time buy or obsolete RAM at 533MHz/1066 Data Rate.

My question is, with the Dual model I've chosen can I use an 800MHz module such as the one below, or is there a functional difference that only allows the MX6Q to use 800MHz/1600 data rate RAM?

Alliance Memory: AS4C512M16D3L-12BCN

If this won't work can you suggest a 1GB (8Gb) module I could use that is active (in production)?

Thanks for your time and help.
