Hi, I'm looking for a System on Module (SOM) to replace the iMX28EVK and there seems to be quite a lot of these modules on the market including the KaRo TX28. I'm unsure though how straight forward will the switch from i.MX28EVK to another module be.
I see that TX28 support was added in 2.6.39 kernel. I'm now using 2.6.35 from freescale. Will this be a problem? What does the TX28 support in the kernel actually mean?
How about all the other SOM modules out there. Is there a reason why my current linux image would not work on these?
