how to interface an 18bit-RGB display to iMX6SL kitkat4.4.2

Hello everyone,

we have a custom board using  iMX6SL with Android 4.4.2.

In our custom board previously we interfaced successfully  7inch display in RGB24bit .

Now we have to interface a 2.8 inch display which supports 18bit RGB format only.

Please tell us what are the changes we have to do in BSP in order to interface a 18bit RGB display to our custom board.

Hi Jansi,

RGB18 is not supported, for MX6SL Configurable are: RGB 16, 24 or 32 bits per pixel frame buffer
