Hi,
using imx6q and linux 3.10.17 (boundary).
On hdmi cable connection / disconneciton, no udev event is fired.
bash-3.2# udevadm monitor
monitor will print the received events for:
UDEV - the event which udev sends out after rule processing
KERNEL - the kernel uevent
I am suspecting a possible hw issue
bash-3.2# /lib/systemd/systemd-udevd
systemd-udevd[829]: starting version 208
Every help is appreciated
Thanks
angelo
Hi Igor, many thanks
i read that thread, but schematic of our board, for the hdmi part, is like sabreauto, so there is a voltage level shifter / protector between cpu and hdmi connector.
Boundary seems have added a patch using RXSENSE pin to detect hdmi monitors, since they had issues with hdmi hotplug detect pin. So the hdmi lcd works at cable connection, but there is not udev event generated.
So in my case, seems an hw problem, with the circuit adjusted differently, the hotplug detection start to work.
Hi angelo
I have the same problem as you,if you can ,tell me how to do ,thanks.
Seems i have some issues with the hot-plug detect pin.
Without any cable connected it is at 1V. With cable connected reach 2,24V, so there seems to be some pinmux configuration issue.
Strangely, in don't find this pin in the pinmux config map.
Hi angelo
one can check post on boundarydevices forum with similar issue
