git merge between android and linux source code for toradex apalis imx6 processor

Dear NXP,

I want to port the android 8 (i.MX Software | NXP ) in one of the Toradex board.

But, Toradex supports Linux only (Build U-Boot and Linux Kernel from Source Code ). So, i plan to merge the source code of android 8 with Linux. But, i do not know how to merge these two sources. And also in linux i got u-boot as well as linux for toradex.

but, in android i got complete source. So, how will merge the two different sources ?
