I am using imx6 board with fsl-yocto-bsp with kernel version 4.1.44 and alsa-lib 1.1.4 . All software in our board uses the alsa plugin asym for simultaneous record/playback. the asound.conf is the default one as in meta-freescale/asound.conf at rocko · Freescale/meta-freescale · GitHub [rocko branch]. codec is from microsemi zl38040.
issues is, sometimes applications are not able to access the audio. below error is coming. attaching asound.conf also

Please suggest any way for debugging.
