according to #ERR003745 there's a need to use 2.2MOHM RESISTOR PULL DOWN on XTALI pin when using crystal.

What is the recommendation when connecting oscillator to XTALI? should i use 2.2MOHM resistor pull down on XTALI  when connecting oscillator ?

one can folow i.MX6 System Development User’s Guide for using external oscillator,

2.2M resistor is not needed.
