Hello NXP,
We received kd_8003_1fc9.dll from Microsoft to debug our custom i.MX8MPlus board via ethernet.
This DLL works fine on i.MX8MPlus EVK, but it didn't work on our i.MX8MPlus board.
It seems to check MAC address or something information of external GbE PHY.
To check how this DLL works inside of i.MX8MPlus, could you provide source code of kd_8003_1fc9.dll?

Hello Salas,
Thank you for your reply.
We already got in touch with Microsoft and they suggested us to request the source code to NXP.
Do you know which party the source code of kd_8003_1fc9.dll is belong to?
If it is written by Microsoft, we will ask them to provide the sourcec code again.

I could confirm with internal team that actually, yes. NXP has the source code for the kd_8003_1fc9.dll, but unfortunately it can be shared for license issues.
Internal team is working to get more information about of this.
I will let you know any update.
Best regards,
Salas.
Hello Salas,
Our Microsoft team also got in touch with Microsoft Japan on this topic.
Microsoft Japan team worked with Microsoft U.S. and
Microsoft Japan told us that Microsoft permitted the
distribution of source code from NXP.
Could you check this comment with responsible person in NXP?

Hello @Norihiro
I asked again about of this situation but it appears that is not possible.
This is the exact answer from internal team:
"I discussed the possibility of sharing with our NXP legal this week and unfortunately it is not possible to share the source codes at this time. Microsoft provided the source codes without licenses and according to NXP rules these cannot be shared with customers."
Also, internal team told me that they are still working in it.
Best regards,
Salas.
Hello Salas,
After that, any situtaion at NXP has been changed for this request?
As I told you before Microsoft Japan told us that they permitted
NXP to distribute the source code.
I understand that supporting WoA by NXP has been moved to Pro support.
So, if customer needs to sign up the contract for pro support to get the source code,
please let me know.

Hello Salas,
Thank you for your work on this topic.
I understood that NXP couldn't share the source code without license or license header.
>Also, internal team told me that they are still working in it.
Do you mean that NXP is requesting license for the source code from Microsoft?

Hello @Norihiro
I am not sure if requesting from Microsoft or doing something related to NXP licensing to be able to share the sources later.
Best regards,
Salas.
Hello @Norihiro
I asked to the internal Windows team, I will let you know any update.
Best regards,
Salas.
Hello @Manuel_Salas,
I am working with @Norihiro to support a customer on this issue.
Is there an update for this issue?
Thanks,
George
Hello @Norihiro
It appears you should contact to Microsoft and ask them to share that source code. Unfortunately we have not the source code for it.
Apologies any inconvenient.
Best regards,
Salas.
