Watchdog reboot on overloading IPU with Linux 4.1.15 in iMX6Q

Hi,

We are using Linux 4.1.15 in iMX6Q (iMX6Q). The display resolution is 1920x120

When we overloading IPU by keep queuing a buffer to IPU for displaying in a gapless loop, and with watchdog enabled, the monitor will reset randomly, in 30min - 11 hours. This issue happened in room temperature. 

When the watchdog is disabled, there is no issue with the same test.

The issue happened very randomly, we have thought about the CPU temperature, but when we increased the CPU temperature to 60C - 80C, the issue did not happen.

Have someone had the similar issue?

Could someone help us with this issue?

did you test your own customized board, right? all of boards have this issue or only some of them?

Yes, it is on our customized board. The issue happens on >95% boards.
