Upgrade to Linux kernel 5.9.11 Problem

Hi,

NXP until this moment has the latest release which is 5.4.47.

I'm working on some modules like SN65DSI86 and ov5647 raspberry camera and their drivers are updates in the 5.9.10 or 5.9.11 Linux kernel.

I looked into https://source.codeaurora.org/external/imx/linux-imx/ and it seems there is a tag for 5.9.11 https://source.codeaurora.org/external/imx/linux-imx/tag/?h=v5.9.11

I tried to create a recipe similar to the linux-imx_5.4.bb trying to upgrade to 5.9.11 but it failed fetching.

Can you help me with a recipe to upgrade the kernel?

Hello Talel,

The L5.9.11 still on development and something may not work use the L5.4.47 instead, now if you want to downground to 4.9.11 you will have to downground the kernel as well.
