Uboot animated splash screen

Does uboot supports the animated splash screen. How to configure to have splash screen at booting.

If U-Boot supports the frame buffer, U-Boot can be used to display a splash screen or a custom company logo.

Hi, above link is for bmp image format. Our requirement to have high resolution animated splash screen. Is it possible?

I am using Boundary devices - boundary-imx_4.14.x_2.0.0_ga BSP. for i.Mx8MQ based nitrogen8m board.

Uboot version 2018.07.
