USB Battery Charging

Has anyone done a design with an iMX535 - MC34708 that charges a battery via the USB OTG port?  The OTG port needs to ; 1 act as a host and power a USB flash drive etc., 2 act as a device, connected to a PC and charge the battery, 3 act as a charging port conected to a USB wall adaptor.  The MC34708 data sheet states the part has this functionality, but gives no examples of how to hook it up to the iMX.  Any help would be appreciated.  John

Hi John,

I've just receive the news that the charger is being removed from the MC34708, so it is not recommended to use it in your designs. You can add an external charger to your application, but unfortunately we don't have any reference designs that include this.
