The problem about register configuration of AR0234

I am using AR0234 to learn driver develop, and now the sensor has alread to output 10bit image, but The 8-bits is not work successfully.

SO,

Do somebody know how to set the register of ar0234 to output 8bit raw image.

Register 0x31AC should be 0x0A08 (default is 0x0A0A)

The key is register 0x3354, its value should be 0x2a, but the RR is show 0x32 for 8-bit.

Hi @jax_wang ,

I shared you the description of the sensor's register relevant to 8/10-bit Bayer output. You might also need full datasheet from vendor for checking other registers as well.

if you need to know how to configure AR0234 camera to support 8bits, you need consult from Onsemi, if you use it on the imx8mp board, current bsp supports this format already
