Hello,
The tamper feature on i.MX 6ULL is controlled by a Fuse which is currently provisioned by NXP to disable this feature on all production part numbers for i.MX6ULL.
Several customer-facing documents incorrectly state that i.MX 6ULL supports external tamper. Since the fuse is programmed to disable this feature on all i.MX 6ULL part numbers, a customer will not be able to use the tamper feature even though the tamper pins are documented in the current documentation.
Documentation will be updated to reflect that tamper is not Supported.
Please also note that the derivative product i.MX 6ULZ also does not support Tamper
