Smart DMA Usage

Hi ,

Please suggest for below questions :

Q1 As per the Reference manual ,  it seems like Smart DMA  can be used while using UART. Is it right ?

Q2  Can we also turn off the Smart DMA while dealing with External memory interfaces like ecSPI with EEPROM ?
