Settings APP cannot launch in L5.15 desktop

Hi All

I tried to build the imx-image-desktop via the manifest: imx-5.15.32-2.0.0_desktop.xml.
Now I tried to launch the Setting APP so I click the Setting icon. After clicking its icon, the mouse pointer shows as busy (spinning) for a few seconds, then the pointer returns to normal, but the app still does not launch. 

I tried another way that enter the 'gnome-control-center' to launch the Setting app and I got following message on console.

gnome-control-center: symbol lookup error: /lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libwebkit2gtk-4.0.so.37: undefined symbol: gbm_bo_create_with_modifiers2

Can you also test imx-5.15.71-2.2.0_desktop.xml?

Thanks for the reply. I did try the imx-5.15.71-2.2.0_desktop.xml with Ubuntu 22.04.1 LTS. This issue is still existed.

Is there any solution for this?

Hi @kenyroj 

This issue is caused by Ubuntu upstream update. The Linux POC is out of update and there is no plan to continue maintain POC. For future ubuntu/debian support, customer should use flexbuild to deploy ubuntu or debain.

This issue is caused by Ubuntu upstream update which you can refer this thread:
