Selecting Correct Ram for IMX8M Mini

I've noticed that the schematics for the IMX8M Mini show 2 GB of ram, while the part numbers supplied are for 16 GB.

MT53D512M32D2DS-053 WT:D and MT40A512M16LY-075:E should they not be stated at 16GB? Also, can the DDR version run with only one of the dies of ram(if they really are 8GB each) and does it matter which die is placed? Also I'm having the hardest time getting ahold of data sheet for any of the ram. Micron doesn't seem to want to give it up easily and since I don't have Orcad and Altium says it can't import the development files I'm stuck making the footprints.

Please note that MT53D512M32D2DS-053 is 16Gb part. "Gb" means gigabits not gigabytes. It is exactly 2 gigabytes.
And MT40A512M16LY-075:E is 8Gb part, it is 1 gigabyte.
