SPL to be signed ?

Hello ,

I am using iMX8M mini.

I am following the CST code signing tool and the document https://www.nxp.com/docs/en/application-note/AN4581.pdf

These documents talks about signing u-boot.imx , but what about the SPL ? Does it need to be signed and with IVT and other info table ( imx format ) as well as u-boot does ?

Do instead the docs mean an all inclusive u-boot meaning u-boot+spl ?

thank you

Hi Antonio

>Do instead the docs mean an all inclusive u-boot meaning u-boot+spl ?

right. AN4581 was written when spl was not supported with i.mx processors.

In general more updated documentation can be found on

imx\doc - uboot-imx - i.MX U-Boot

imx\doc - uboot-imx - i.MX U-Boot

"Step-by-step guides are available under doc/imx/habv4/guides/ directory"

introduction_habv4.txt\habv4\imx\doc - uboot-imx - i.MX U-Boot

thank you,

I completed the part described on that document and

at the end of that document I can read

The SRK_1_2_3_4_table.bin and SRK_1_2_3_4_fuse.bin files can be used in further steps as explained in HAB guides available under doc/imx/habv4/guides/ directory.

But I cannot find any other document that follows with other steps required to build imx8mm_evk U-boot.

I was expecting to find somewhere where it explains how to configure for the board like "make imx8mm_evk_defconfig "or something similar , but I cannot find it.
