SPI Nor Flash M25P16

Hi Team,

Currently I am working on i.MX Processor for SPI NOR Flash M25P16 from Micron on Kernel Version 6.1.38..

I am getting below error

spi-nor spi0.0: unrecognized JEDEC id bytes: 00 00 00 00 00 00 00.

Please let me know How I can proceed

Thank you,Now Nor flash is detecting .Now I have only mtd0.

How do I create different blocks for Nor flash like mtd0, mtd1, mtd2, mtd3 etc

If you have more NOR flash on your board, you could create different MTD for the flash.

Actually I have 32 blocks in Nor flash.Please provide below information.

1.How to write and read data to/from each block.

2.Is it necessary to erase the data before writing to each block?

3.Is there any command to get RDID of nor flash using command line
