Dear NXP Semiconductors,
I am writing to request support on how to achieve two simultaneous display using embedded linux for NXP i.MX processors. I am interested in using embedded linux to run two separate displays (XGA + VGA) simultaneously for either i.MX6Q/i.MX8MQ.
From the i.MX processor datasheet, it shows that up to 4 simultaneous displays are supported, and I assume, corresponding display driver and framework (weston / X11) are enabled in NXP i.MX linux to achieve simultaneous displays.
I would be great if I could get the steps to achieve two simultaneous display using i.MX linux.
Thank you
for imx8mq, current bsp support dual display(HDMI+mipi dsi) already, customer doesn't need to change anything, for more detailed information, you can refer to the dts file
