Regarding i.MX6 Linux BSP for year 2038 problem.

Hi community,

I have a question about i.MX6DQ Linux BSP.

You know Linux kernel 3.14 has year 2038 problem.

Would you let me know whether has NXP release a patch for BSP or not?

If not, would you let me know how fix year 2038 problem?

This topic is now 6 years old. I am using BSP L4.1.15_2.0.0 which has the year 2038 problem. Has a current BSP addressed the 2038 problem yet, and if not what are the plans in this area?

Hello,

Actually we migrate the kernels every year.

So we will wait for this issue to be completely solved in future Linux kernel and then we will use this kernel.
