Reassign Controller Area Network (CAN) interfaces to UART

I want to use the two CAN (DB-9) interfaces on i.mx 6solox development board as UARTs. Is this possible? If yes then can I use these UARTs from M4?

please check

Reuse CAN interface for UART communication 

both cores can access modules if RDC is configured properly.
