Read back bootable image from FlexSPI NOR flash and save as hex file

Hello!

Board = RT1060-EVKB (eventually migrate to a custom hardware with RT1062 MCU)

Using tool like MCU Boot Utility (or even cmd line tool like blhost), is there a way that I can backup/readback the bootable image contents (e.g. 0x60000000 to 0x60006000) in my FlexSPI NOR flash to a valid .hex file?

I have used MCU Boot Utility GUI but that does not give me a .hex file when reading back...

From there, ideally I would like to merge part of this hex file with a raw application image... this is all for development purposes.

Any help or guidance on the above would be greatly appreciated!

BEST REGARDS,

KENNETH

Hello, my name is Pavel, and I will be supporting your case, I review the Secure provisioning tool, but this does not have this option available. Maybe you could use the BLHOST but that tool needs to specify the address and the size, but this does not have the option to sabe in hex.

Best regards,
Pavel
