RTC alarm wakeup from shutdown

We have a custom board with i.MX6UL processor. We are using ATWILC3000 wifi module (SPI interface) ATWILC3000 - Wireless Modules  on our board. The RTC alarm wake up from shutdown works fine if don't enable wifi module. But the main problem is that wake up from shutdown by RTC alarm is unreliable if we enable wifi module. Even if we disable wifi module just before shutdown wake up from shutdown doesn't work. I haven't been able to make any correlation between wifi module and RTC alarm wake up from shutdown. Any suggestion for resolving the problem. 

We are using Linux kernel 4.1.

one can try with unit test (imx-test../rtcwakeup.c)

One can pay attention that when processor was powered off, wifi module

also was powered off, to avoid parasitic leakage to unpowered processor.
