Question, i.MX28 clock input

Hi team,

I would like to ask about i.MX28 clock input.

My customer has started the HW design for their own i.MX28 board and they will use crystal for i.MX28 clock input.

Do you have any specification for clock input?

Duty cycles, deflection voltage range, etc.

The customer is trying to use a crystal which has about 560mV of deflection range.

Is it OK for i.MX28?

Thanks,

Miyamoto

The i.MX28 processor has the internal oscillation circuits for both 32kHz and 24MHz clock sources. Both oscillation circuits are supplied from the internal linear voltage regulator that produces the VDDXTAL voltage whose typical value is 1.1V. The typical external crystal parameters are as per the specifications attached. The typical duty cycle is 50%.

Have a great day,
Artur
