Progress stuck while flashing an android image to i.MX 8M Mini EVK

Hello so I've been trying to flash Android 9 into a custom tablet. The board used it is an i.MX 8M Mini EVK that my senior tasked me to flash Android 9 in it. I did everything I could to flash it but it keeps getting stuck at 

[ =========100%=================] SDP: boot -f u-boot-imx8mm-evk-uuu.imx.link

And no more responses. Is there like a way to solve this? Thanks. Oh and I also used UUU for the flashing method


Additional info: My device also is stuck in a bootloop after I accidentally installed the wrong image so yeah, but I can still access the SDP though
